Butterfly Bag

I can finally show this bag that was finished at the end of October.  This was a Christmas present for one of my very good customers, Cathy. Her sisters asked me to make a special bag just for her. Cathy has bought a couple of my bags and given them as gifts to her sisters, so they got one for her!  

 The butterflies are actually made using organza and stitched on my embroidery machine.

After the wings are made, I stitched the body right onto the bag.  Its hard to see in the photo but they are 3D.  They are so much fun, their wings move when you walk with the bag!

I also heard that this was her favorite present this year! Makes me so proud!!
