Pinwheels

Here is a quick job I did for Terri.  I don't know the story behind them.  They could be that wonderful find from a garage sale or estate sale.  I bet someone found them lost and all alone in some attic!

It was a very simple job.  The blocks were all hand made and when I went to trim them none of the seams were going to match up, so I just had to sew them together and put a border on.  It is a very wonderful quilt and will be made even better when Terri works her quilting magic on it.

The white border fabric is new so it is much brighter than the white in the blocks.  I wish I knew of a way to make it look old without damaging it.  Kinda like when crooks try to make counterfeit paintings look old, something like that but with fabric. Hmmm!
